Product Overview

The RHVhMVh 3x Cu + H1 is a medium voltage (MV) copper power cable designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in demanding industrial environments. It features XLPE insulation, copper conductor class 2, metallic H1 copper tape screen, steel wire armour, and hydrocarbon-resistant PVC sheath, making it suitable for installations exposed to oils, chemicals, and mechanical stress.

This cable is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-2 and Repsol ED-P-10.01-01 standards, ensuring high reliability for critical power infrastructure applications.

  • Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), triple extrusion process

  • Insulation Screen: Strippable semiconductive layer

  • Core Identification: Colour-coded brown, green, yellow

  • Metallic Screen (H1): Helically applied copper tape (overlapped)

  • Cabling: Three cores laid up helically with filler bedding

  • Bedding Layer: Hydrocarbon-resistant PVC compound

  • Armour: Galvanized steel wire armour with counter-wound binding tape

  • Outer Sheath: Red PVC compound resistant to oils and hydrocarbons
